John Curran

John Curran's work experience begins with their current position at BostonGene, where they hold the role of Laboratory Director and VP of Laboratory Operations. Prior to this, they were the VP of Laboratory Operations at BostonGene, where they contributed to the development of biomedical software for cancer research and personalized therapy decision-making.

Before their time at BostonGene, John served as the Director of Laboratory and Facilities Operations at Neon Therapeutics from 2015 to 2019.

From 2010 to 2015, they worked at Foundation Medicine as the Director of Central Laboratory. In this role, they were responsible for managing the operations of a next-generation sequencing laboratory and overseeing a team of laboratory technicians, technologists, supervisors, and managers.

John obtained their PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Glasgow, where they attended from 1989 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Clark University, specializing in Business Administration. John studied at Clark University from 2001 to 2005.
