Nathan Fowler, MD

Nathan Fowler, MD has extensive experience in the field of medicine. Nathan is currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at BostonGene since December 2019. Prior to this, they held various roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center, including Professor of Medicine since August 2019 and Associate Professor from July 2007 to July 2019. Alongside their academic career, Dr. Fowler is also the President and Founder of the Halo House Foundation, since January 2010. Nathan began their medical career as Chief Fellow at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital from July 2006 to July 2007. Furthermore, Dr. Fowler served as a Nuclear Biological Chemical Defense Specialist in the US Army from 1988 to 1991.

Nathan Fowler, MD has a Bachelors of Science (Honors) degree in Biology from the University of Houston. Nathan then attended The University of Texas Medical Branch where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Currently, they specialize in Hematology/Oncology at Georgetown University. Nathan also has additional certifications in Medical Oncology from the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds a Texas Medical License from the State of Texas.
