Lucas Vanlaer

Lucas Vanlaer currently serves as Chief of Staff at Botanix Labs, a Layer 2 solution on Bitcoin focused on DeFi and NFTs since July 2023. Prior experience includes Head of Operations & Finance at Artfuse, a music event booking platform from June 2022 to June 2023, and roles at B-Cells as a Business Developer & Product Developer from August 2020 to June 2022, where Lucas guided clients through innovation projects. Prior to this, Lucas taught Mathematics and Physics as a tutor and worked as a Junior Consultant at irex Consulting, focusing on the energy supply chain. Leadership experience includes serving as President of VTK, the student association at KU Leuven, and managing corporate relations initiatives. Lucas holds a Master of Engineering in Energy and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven.
