Eduardo Santana

Eduardo Santana has been working in the software engineering and teaching fields since 2011. In 2011, they began working as a System Analyst at Siena Company, where they developed a Warehouse Management System using Java, PrimeFaces, JSF, Hibernate, RFID, and PostgreSQL. From 2012 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Analyst at Valid S.A. and as a Senior Software Engineer at DOCCLOUD. During this time, they also wrote technical papers for DevMedia site and magazines. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Professor at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidade de São Paulo. In 2019, they also worked as a Contract Software Engineer for Modzy, eBay, and recreation.gov. Since 2022, they have been a Senior Software Architect at BotCity (YC W22), migrating the first version of the application from a Servlet/JSP monolith to a Spring Boot based microservice architecture, and developing the first version of the new orchestrator front-end in React. Eduardo is also a Professor at Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and a Professor Java at Let's Code, where they teach courses on Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

Eduardo Santana has an education history that includes a Doctorate in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo (2015-2019), a Master in Computer Science from UFSCar - Alumni (2008-2010), and a BA in Computer Science from UFSCar - Alumni (2004-2007).
