Grady Broughton

Grady Broughton has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. In 2013, they started their career as an Ocean Rescue Captain at Brevard County Fire & Rescue, where they were responsible for accident prevention, public education, and search and rescue. Grady also held the role of training captain and responded to emergencies across multiple public beaches. After four years in this role, Grady transitioned to become a Surfing Instructor at the Ron Jon School of Surf, where they provided surfing lessons and camps to students of all ages, ensuring their safety and providing detailed instructions. In 2020, they worked as a Developmental Intern at the Special Olympics of Florida, gaining experience in a nonprofit organization. Grady then moved on to Merrill Lynch in 2021 as an Investment Specialist Trainee, where they provided client relations, service, and sales support to existing clients, focusing on growing client relationships and offering need-based financial solutions. Currently, in 2022, Grady is a Customer Experience/Sales employee at BOTE.

Grady Broughton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a major concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing from the University of North Florida. Grady attended the university from 2018 to 2020.
