Yanal Wazaefi

Yanal Wazaefi is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and data science, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Botify since June 2019. Yanal's career includes significant positions such as Vice President of Data Platform and Head of Data Science, where orchestration of cross-functional collaboration and leadership of data teams drove innovation and the successful delivery of AI-driven projects. Previous roles include Lead Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist at Guru, Data Scientist at Kelkoo Group, and Research Engineer at LSIS UMR 7296, among others. Yanal has a strong academic foundation with a Ph.D. in Computer Science focused on Artificial Intelligence from Aix-Marseille University and holds a Master's degree from Université Grenoble Alpes and a Bachelor's degree from Damascus University.
