GABRIEL DAVILA OCANTO

Gabriel Davila Ocanto has worked in various positions in the engineering field since 2007. GABRIEL'sfirst position was a Project Engineer at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2007-2008. GABRIEL then worked as a Mechanical Engineer/Maintenance, Quality and Environment and a Maintenance Project Engineer at FERRER™ from 2008-2014. From 2014-2017, they were an Industrial Maintenance Manager at Soprema Iberia. In 2017, they worked as a Field Engineer/Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From 2018-2021, they were a Maintenance Technician at Caterpillar Inc., where they were responsible for hands-on work with hand tools, pneumatic tools, gauges and measuring devices, specialized torque equipment, electrical testing equipment, lifting devices/cranes, and MES systems. GABRIEL also assembled components and performed adjustments on both diesel and natural gas engines. In 2018, they also worked as a Project Manager/Estimator at GABY HVAC, LLC, where they were responsible for technical study, preparation and estimation of bids for HVAC projects in commercial, industrial and residential buildings. Currently, they are a Remanufacturing and Equipment Engineer at Botrista Technology, Inc.

Gabriel Davila Ocanto has a comprehensive education history. GABRIEL completed a Bachelor's Degrees Science in Mechanical Engineering at Universidad de los Andes (VE) between 2000 and 2005. GABRIEL then went on to pursue a Master of Science - MS in Mechanical Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) between 2008 and 2011. Finally, they completed a Master of Science - MS in Organization, Production Engineering and Management of Industrial Plants. Lean Manufacturing at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2014-2015.
