Dr Badziili Nthubu

Dr. Badziili Nthubu currently serves as a lecturer at Botswana International University of Science & Technology, teaching various engineering modules across multiple levels since January 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Nthubu worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Lancaster University, focusing on design and visualizations in innovation ecologies, and previously undertook research as a PhD researcher enhancing the understanding of manufacturing innovation ecosystems. Dr. Nthubu has also held positions as a teaching instructor at Botswana International University of Science & Technology and as a training and development specialist at Botswana Power Corporation, where graduate engineers were trained in various technical disciplines. Early career experience included working as a design engineer in the Botswana Defence Force, producing detailed engineering drawings using CAD tools. Dr. Nthubu holds a PhD in Design from Lancaster University, a Master’s in Mechanical Design and Theory from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor's in Design from the University of Botswana.
