Rolf Wildermuth has a long career in the medical device industry. Rolf started in 1999 as Sales and Marketing Director at Tyco Healthcare. In 2007, they moved to Covidien as Business Unit Manager. In 2011, they became Business Unit Director at Covidien Switzerland. In 2013, they were promoted to Business Unit Director at Covidien and also became Chairman of the Board. In 2015, they were promoted to Business Unit Director at Medtronic. In 2017, they were promoted again to Country Director and Chairman of the Board at Medtronic. In 2019, they became a Consultant in the medical device industry. In 2020, they moved to Lexington Medical, Inc. as Vice President Europe and General Manager and Chairman of the Board. In 2021, they co-founded Bottneuro AG and became Chairman of the Board.

Rolf Wildermuth obtained their Executive Master of European and International Business Law from the University of St.Gallen in 2015. Prior to this, they studied Business Administration/Economics for Technology Entrepreneurs at the same university. In 2019, they attended the Boston Strategy Week at the Harvard Club of Boston, as part of the SMP Management Programm St. Gallen. In 2015, they completed the Executive Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. Rolf obtained their General Management certification from St. Galler Business School in 2002 and their Sales Management certification from the same school in 2001. In 1990, they became a Certified Stapling Technician with the United States Surgical Corporation. In 1987, they completed the Cours de Civilisation Francaise de la Sorbonne at the Université Paris-Sorbonne.
