Kasuni Boteju

Scientist II at Boulder Scientific Company

Kasuni Boteju began their career as a Teaching Assistant and later became an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, University of Sri Jayewardenepura from October 2011 to July 2013. In August 2013, they joined Iowa State University as a PhD Student and also worked as a Graduate Assistant until August 2020. Recently, they have been working as a Scientist I at Boulder Scientific Company since August 2020.

Kasuni Boteju started their education journey at Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo, Sri Lanka from 1998 to 2006, where they completed their high school education. Kasuni then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura from 2007 to 2011. After completing their undergraduate studies, they obtained a Diploma in Business Management from the same university in 2010 to 2011. Kasuni further pursued their education at Iowa State University from 2013 to 2019, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry specialized in Organometallics.
