Jo Pretty

Jo Pretty is an experienced educational leader currently serving as an FE Adviser in the FE Commissioner’s office at the Department for Education and as a Board Member at Bournemouth University, where Jo also chairs the Student Experience, Quality and Standards committee. Prior roles include Principal and Chief Accounting Officer at University College Isle of Man, with a focus on inspirational leadership and educational improvement, and strategic leadership as Principal & CEO at Lowestoft College, driving financial stability and organizational change. Jo's extensive career also includes managing directorship roles and contributions to the arts through participation in the Isle of Man Arts Council. Academic qualifications include pursuing a Doctorate in Professional Studies at the University of Chester and multiple degrees from Norwich University of the Arts, culminating in a Master's and Bachelor's in Fine Art and Visual Studies.
