Dawn Barnett

Dawn Barnett possesses extensive experience in mental health and crisis intervention, currently serving as a Crisis Clinician at Steward Health Care since June 2013, where evaluations for patients with mental health concerns are conducted in the emergency room. Additionally, Dawn has been an In Home Therapist for the Family Service Association of Fall River since October 2010, providing intensive therapy services to clients with MassHealth insurance. As an Expressive Arts Therapist at Bournewood Health Systems since August 2009, group therapy sessions are facilitated across various units, including those for adults with major mental illnesses and adolescents. Previous experience includes a role as a Family Clinician at Communities for People and teaching CPR and first aid classes at Hockomock Area YMCA. Dawn holds a Master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology from Bridgewater State University.
