Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson has over 25 years of experience in the design and construction of new, expansion, and renovation projects. Brian has worked at Cleland Jardine Engineering Limited since 1996, where they started as a Partner and Manager of the Design (New Construction) Department. Throughout their career, Brian has been responsible for projects with values over $200 million and has held roles such as Principal in Charge, Project Manager, and Lead Engineer. Brian is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple Canadian provinces. Brian recently joined Bouthillette Parizeau as Vice President - Structural in 2023.

Brian Johnson completed their education at Carleton University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with High Distinction. Prior to attending university, Brian received their Diploma from AY Jackson Secondary School from 1987 to 1992.

In terms of certifications, Brian obtained the Professional Engineer certification from Engineers and Geoscientists BC in March 2022 and from the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists (NAPEG) in April 2021. Brian also completed the IPDA Bootcamp from the Integrated Project Delivery Alliance (IPDA) in June 2019 and the LEAN Bootcamp from the Lean Construction Institute of Canada in May 2019. Additionally, Brian obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from Engineers and Geoscientists New Brunswick and Engineers Nova Scotia in January 2013. Brian holds the Associate Professional certification from the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) since January 2012, and the Building Design Specialist (BDS) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario since January 2008. Lastly, Brian achieved the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in May 1998.
