Joel Sanscartier

Joel Sanscartier is a structural engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at BPA since May 2019. Responsibilities include preparing and designing plans, specifications, and reports for structural projects, conducting site surveys to identify structural deficiencies, and overseeing construction phases in collaboration with general contractors and architects. Notable projects undertaken include Sainte-Claire Elementary School and Dr. Alexis-Bouthillier School. Prior experience includes serving as a junior engineer at Solution Sismique, where expertise in seismic risk assessment was developed, and working as a civil engineering technician at the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. Joel began their career as a general laborer at Bernard Sanscartier construction Ltd during high school and university. Joel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Geotechnical from the University of Ottawa.
