Ahmed Omran

Program Chair, School of Technology at BOW VALLEY COLLEGE

Ahmed is a program chair in the School of Technology. He has strong skills in a wide area of the technology field, is certified in many different areas, and is a Cisco-certified instructor, AWS Educator, and a PMP-certified professional. His strong industry knowledge gave him the chance to be the first Netskope certified professional in Canada, as well as the first Symantec trainee on CloudSoc in Canada, focused on an edge technology known as CASB. This was during his time as a Cybersecurity Awareness Training specialist. He is also a veteran and holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
