Crystal Samela

Crystal Samela is a program chair in the Chiu School of Business. She first joined Bow Valley College in 2016 as an instructor, teaching a variety of Business Administration courses, and developing course curriculum. Prior to working at the College, she spent 10 years working in the energy industry, with a focus on financial modeling, pipeline operations, and strategic asset management.

As a lifelong learner, Crystal has a strong passion for education, both in curriculum development, and enhancing the classroom experience. She is dedicated to continually enriching our programs and educational opportunities for learners.

Crystal has a diploma in Accounting from Lethbridge College. She also has a Bachelor of Management with a Finance major from the University of Lethbridge. She has a Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University.
