Jody Gilbert

Program Chair, School Of Global Access & English Language Programming at BOW VALLEY COLLEGE

Jody Gilbert is the program chair for online and part- time English language programming in the School of Global Access. He began working at Bow Valley College as a program coordinator in 2012, and has coordinated non-credit, international, home study, and regional English language learning programs. Previously, he was an English for Academic Purposes instructor and coordinator at the University of Lethbridge, and Lethbridge College (Blairmore Nippon Institute Campus). He was also a foreign language teacher in Guangzhou, China.

Jody holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Lethbridge. He also has a Diploma in Adult Education, with a Teaching English as a Second Language specialization, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta. Jody has a Master of Arts in Educational Technology and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Manchester, in England.
