Laren Helfer

Laren has nearly 15 years of nursing and management experience in the field of health care administration, gained here in Calgary in various primary health care settings. She has spent her nursing career working along-side and developing health administrative assistants and is passionate about her discipline.

Since joining the the Chiu School of Business in 2015, Laren has worked to establish strong industry relationships and is committed to continuous program improvement. Laren is a Bow Valley College alumna who graduated from the Practical Nurse program in 2004. As a lifelong learner, she is fully committed to education and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in learning and technology.
