Raj has been with the Chiu School of Business since 2016 and has worked as an instructor in the field of Adult Education since 2012. He is an advocate for lifelong learning and holds numerous credentials, including a Masters of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (Dual Major: Work, Organization, & Leadership Practices, and Adult Education), the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Designation, and a Bachelor of Applied Financial Services Degree.
Over the last few years, Raj has worked with accrediting bodies such as the Investment Funds Institute of Canada, as well as FP Canada, to ensure that course curriculum meets industry standards, and so that Bow Valley College maintains its status as an approved education partner. He also continues to strengthen industry relations through the formation and maintenance of mentorship programs, networking events, as well as regularly serving as a coach for the Western Regional Case Competition, hosted by the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning.
Primarily focusing on instructing courses geared towards the Financial Services Major, Raj is also the lead for the Microeconomics course, as well as an instructor for Business Administration Management courses such as Business Mathematics, Organizational Behaviour, and Introduction to Management.
