Tanya Didluck

Tanya graduated with her Early Childhood Education diploma from Mount Royal University, and worked in the field for a couple of years before returning to university to complete her Bachelor of Education. Tanya has been teaching part-time at Bow Valley College since 2006. Before joining the College, she taught elementary school for the Calgary Board of Education. Tanya believes passionately that children learn best through play in a supportive environment, guided by qualified, educated early childhood professionals. She especially enjoys teaching practicum courses where she has opportunities to build relationships, mentor, and motivate students throughout their own educational journey. Her goal is to continue working with students to develop strong skills, competencies, and attitudes that can be used to improve the quality of childcare and education delivered to children and their families. Tanya's favourite hobby is camping in the mountains or by a lake with her husband and three young children.
