Xinwei Ma

Xinwei brings international experience in stakeholder engagement, political and policy analysis, and project coordination to the role. Prior to joining Bow Valley College, Xinwei worked for the Consulate-General of China in Calgary as a Press Assistant. She also held positions at HaiNan Travel Channel (based in Beijing), including Marketing Specialist, successfully managing media marketing projects such as the 2014-WGC-HSBC Champions Golf Tournament Live Broadcast and 2015 Chinese Tourism Conference.

Originally from Beijing, China, Xinwei spent 4.5 years studying in the UK before she came to Canada in 2015. She holds a Master’s Degree in Globalization and Communication from University of Leicester and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Practice (Mass Communication) from University of Bedfordshire.
