Bill Upshaw

Bill Upshaw is currently an account executive at Bowen, Miclette & Britt, but they have plenty of experience in the insurance industry. Bill worked as a commercial insurance agent at Wells Fargo from August 2006 to November 2006. Before that, they were the executive vice president at Brown & Brown of Florida from March 1999 to July 2006. Bill also has experience as a general manager, which they did at Summitt Insurance Agency from March 1994 to March 1999. Their career in insurance started at MetLife, where they were a personal insurance salesperson and sales manager from June 1986 to March 1994.

Bill Upshaw began their educational career by studying Business Administration and Management at Richland Community College. They then continued their education by studying Business Studies at Stephen F. Austin State University. Bill Upshaw has also received certification from the Florida Surplus Lines Service Office (FSLSO) in Insurance Surplus Lines Broker/Agent, the Notary Public for the State of Florida in Notary Public, and The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research in Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC). Finally, Bill Upshaw is also certified by the Florida Department of Financial Services in General Lines (Property & Casualty).
