Hamed Kamara

Hamed Kamara has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Hamed began their career as an Accounting Intern at BMP Media Holdings in 2011, where they gained experience in journal entries, invoice data entry, and general ledger analysis. Hamed then joined comiXology, an Amazon company, as a Jr. Staff Accountant in 2012, where they were responsible for processing invoices, generating payments, and calculating monthly depreciation of fixed assets. Kamara later took on the role of Financial Analyst at comiXology before moving to Bustle in 2015 as an Accountant, where they performed various accounting tasks. In 2016, they were promoted to Senior Accountant at Bustle, further expanding their responsibilities. Kamara joined Icelandic Provisions in 2017 as a Senior Accountant and later transitioned to the role of Finance Manager in 2020. Hamed'smost recent position is at Bowery Farming, where they started as a Sr. Accounting Manager in 2021 and currently serves as the Director of Accounting.

Hamed Kamara holds a Master's degree in Finance, General from Zicklin School of Business, obtained from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting from Brooklyn College from 2010 to 2012.
