Tereen Llewelyn-Miller has a comprehensive work experience spanning multiple organizations. Tereen began their career in 2002 as an Assistant Program Director at Baycove Human Services. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Program Coordinator at the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH). In 2007, they joined Henry Street Settlement as a Senior Manager.

Tereen then moved on to the Bowery Residents' Committee, where they held various positions. Tereen started as an Assistant Director in 2011 and served in that role until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Director. Tereen then advanced to the role of Vice President of Program Enhancement (Organizational Development) and Co-Lead of the DEI Council from 2019 to 2021. In their most recent position at Bowery Residents' Committee, starting in June 2021, Tereen is the Vice President for Professional Development and Organizational Learning (HR) and also Co-Lead of the DEI Council.

Throughout their career, Tereen has been responsible for various aspects of talent ecosystem management and organizational development. Tereen has implemented leadership assessment strategies, created high-potential development programs, and facilitated succession planning initiatives. Tereen has also focused on improving employee experience and engagement, utilizing coaching and mentoring solutions, and measuring the impact of management and leadership development efforts.

Tereen Llewelyn-Miller, SHRM-SCP, MS has a comprehensive education history in the fields of coaching, leadership, organizational development, human resources management, and psychology. In 2021-2022, Tereen completed the Coaching Certification Program (3CP) at Columbia University, specializing in executive and organizational coaching. Additionally, Tereen has pursued executive education at Columbia Business School, focusing on the Developing Leaders Program for Nonprofit Professionals. Tereen holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Leadership, Organizational Development & Human Resources Management from Northeastern University. They also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the same institution.

Tereen has augmented their education with valuable certifications. In 2021, they obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. They also achieved a Human Resources Metrics certificate from Northeastern University in 2021. Furthermore, Tereen is a certified SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) since 2020, accredited by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
