Darlene Ajayi

Darlene Ajayi currently serves as the Entrepreneurship Academy Program Manager at Bowie State University, a position held since March 2019, where Darlene manages daily operations, oversees the Academy's budget, and provides guidance to the Student Advisory Council. Since February 2014, Darlene has been the Manager of Programs at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), directing program strategy and design for entrepreneurship initiatives in the Baltimore Washington Metro market. Previous roles include Manager of Program Services & Women Business Center Director at Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore, where Darlene achieved a 15% increase in women-owned small business affiliations, and Program Director at NFTE, where budget management and collaborative partnerships with educational entities were key responsibilities. Darlene's experience also includes significant contributions to educational reform through a role as a Business Education Teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools. Darlene holds an M.S. Ed in Instructional Technology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration & Business from the University of Baltimore.
