Ryan Belyea

Ryan Belyea has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan currently holds the position of Executive Vice President, Chief Digital Officer at Bowman Consulting since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at AECOM, starting as a GIS Project Manager in November 1999 and progressing to the roles of Associate Vice President, Information Management Solutions from June 2019 to November 2021, Department Manager - Information Management Solutions from February 2015 to January 2023, and finally Vice President from November 2021 to January 2023. Before joining AECOM, they served as the Department Head at URS Corporation from March 2009 to January 2023. In their earlier career, they worked at Geographic Technologies Group as the Director of GIS Services from March 2007 to March 2009 and at Moorman, Kizer & Reitzel as a GIS Coordinator from October 1998 to November 1999.

Ryan Belyea pursued higher education starting in 1989, when they attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. There, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics between 1989 and 1994. Following this, from 1996 to 1998, Ryan studied at North Carolina State University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Natural Resources.
