Jerry von Berge

Jerry Von Berge is a Senior Software Engineer at Box since June 2022, specializing in system design and implementation of security features for the Box Shield product. Prior to Box, Jerry held various roles at IBM from December 1993 to June 2022, including Back-end Software Engineer for IBM Cloud managed Kubernetes Services, where responsibilities involved managing Kubernetes deployments and developing features using Go and Python. Additional roles at IBM included Application Server Software Engineer for IBM Watson Health solutions, Networking Software Engineer for managing network devices, and earlier positions focusing on UNIX shell commands and file systems development. Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
