Ian Houvet

Ian Houvet is an experienced professional with a background in consulting and management within the public sector. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Boxfusion since February 2009, Ian is responsible for setting the vision and guiding the product roadmap and delivery teams to transform the South African public sector with innovative solutions. Prior roles include Programme Manager at Social Development, where Ian focused on automating reports and administrative processes for various government departments, and Consultant positions at Simeka Consulting and Deloitte Consulting. Ian also held a Solution Architect and Integrator role at Telkom and has previous experience as Managing Director at Boxfusion from 2003 to 2006. Ian holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management from The University of Manchester, obtained in 2000.
