Shiqi Zhang

Shiqi Zhang is a Postdoctoral Scientist at Boyce Thompson Institute since January 2019, focusing on phosphate dynamics in Brachypodium distachyon roots during arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis, and has successfully initiated and reported on four parallel research projects involving quantitative confocal imaging. Previously, Shiqi Zhang served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis from September 2012 to September 2018, where work centered on cation selectivities and biological functions of vacuolar Na+/H+ antiporters in Arabidopsis thaliana, leading to the initiation and reporting of seven parallel research projects, including similar imaging techniques. Shiqi Zhang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Plant Sciences from the University of California, Davis, obtained in 2018.
