Ashok Rathnasabapathy has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ashok began their career as a Senior Application Developer at CSC, where they built custom tools and applications for Nielsen & Co. and Citibank. Ashok then progressed to a Senior Programmer/Analyst role, working on custom application development for an onsite healthcare provider.
Rathnasabapathy later joined Creative Automation Company (now Valid USA) as a Technical Lead, managing a team of data engineers and DBAs. Ashok built Customer 360 systems and developed custom applications for clients such as Citibank and Uline.
In 2005, Rathnasabapathy joined Epsilon as an IT Manager, leading solution design and builds for Fortune 100 corporations in industries like finance, retail, and CPG. Ashok'sclients included Bank of America, FedEx, and New York & Co.
At Apollo Education Group, Rathnasabapathy held multiple roles, starting as the Director of IT, Software Engineering. Ashok managed applications such as analytics, Ellucian Banner ERP, middleware platforms, Blackboard Cloud, and faculty dashboards. Additionally, they handled budget management, vendor management, contract negotiations, and license management. Ashok'sprojects were consistently delivered on-time and under budget.
During their tenure at Apollo, Rathnasabapathy's role expanded to Global Head of Data Platform & Analytics. Ashok built and managed teams of data engineers, DBAs, platform administrators, and visualization developers. Ashok also designed and implemented a comprehensive data strategy, including data integration frameworks, data security/privacy measures, and data quality initiatives.
Most recently, Rathnasabapathy joined Boyd Group Services Inc. as the Director of Enterprise Apps. & Software Engineering. Ashok was responsible for building teams in areas such as app development, data engineering, product management, analytics, and reporting. Ashok led numerous key initiatives, including the implementation of Workday for HCM, finance, and procurement, Salesforce platforms, and OCR-based AP automation. Additionally, they spearheaded the transition to a modern data lake and analytics platform on AWS and championed agile practices and standardized software architecture.

Ashok Rathnasabapathy obtained their HS Diploma in Computers, Mathematics & Physics from Bharathi Vidhya Bhavan, Erode, India in 1993. Ashok then pursued a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, which they completed in 1997.
