Laurie Black

Laurie Black is a senior executive and advisor with more than 35 years of experience in business leadership, operations, and innovation. With a passion for service, product, people, and results, Laurie is committed to helping organizations thrive by achieving operational excellence while staying relevant to their customer’s changing needs. She has enjoyed a long and successful career serving as President of Nordstrom Rack, Vice President of Nordstrom, and most recently as the President of glassybaby.

Laurie has also served as a member of the Board of Directors to the Greater Northwest Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Rotary Boys & Girls Club and is currently serving on the O'Dea high School Board, the UW Arts and Sciences Advisory Board and Corporation Board President of Gamma Phi Beta at UW. Laurie is a graduate of the Seattle Leadership Tomorrow program in 2001 and has been a college advisor and mentor for over 20 years. Her philanthropy also includes volunteering for various community and education organizations like CASA, Big Sisters as well as within several Seattle private and public schools.
