Boys & Girls Aid strives to find lifelong connections for children who face abuse and neglect. Founded in 1885, we continue to help Oregon’s children find permanent homes through adoption, while providing temporary shelter for children in transition. The Youth Services Team at Boys & Girls Aid is dedicated to supporting children in transition through direct care and specialized services. They provide temporary shelter, engage with families to create supportive environments, assess and prepare homes for adoption, and recruit families for lifelong connections. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and permanent placement of children facing abuse and neglect.

The Specialists Team at Boys & Girls Aid works collaboratively to support the organization's mission through diverse roles. The Media Design Specialist creates impactful visual content and marketing materials; the Outreach And Certification Specialist connects with potential adoptive families and ensures they meet necessary requirements; the Data Quality Assurance Specialist maintains accurate records and analyzes data to inform program improvements; the Program Support Specialist - Step/neighborhood provides direct assistance to children in transitional programs; and the A&E Specialist focuses on adoption and enforcement processes to facilitate permanent placements for children. Together, they enhance operational efficiency, outreach, and service quality.
