Alexis Hutson

Director of Special Events at Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central Illinois

Alexis Hutson is the current Director of Special Events at Boys & Girls Club of Elgin. Prior to this, they served as an Event Specialist at Christ Community Church from July 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they assisted various ministries within the church with event-related tasks and managed the church's reservations and registration pages. From August 2019 to July 2020, Alexis was a Volunteer Program Facilitator at Feed My Starving Children, where they facilitated exceptional volunteer experiences and encouraged volunteers to become engaged and invested in the organization's mission. Alexis has also worked as a Development Manager at Daisie Foundation and as a Project Manager and Events Assistant at Citygirl Events LLC.

Alexis Hutson earned a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership from Moody Bible Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Augustana College. Alexis also attended St. Charles North High School.

They are on a team with Matt East - VP of Development, Amanda Ginger - Director of Grants, and Tori Crowe - Director of Marketing & Communications. Their manager is Elizabeth Moe Garcia, Chief Development Officer.
