Alma Burke

Alma Burke is a seasoned professional with over 27 years of law enforcement experience, serving as President and CEO of Burke Consulting Group LLC since June 2021. In this role, Alma focuses on tactics, emergency management, and leadership development. Alma also holds the position of Vice President at HAPCOA, where efforts are directed toward nurturing future public safety leaders. Additionally, Alma serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California, specializing in topics such as strategic communications and conflict resolution. As the Director of Public Safety for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Alma volunteers to develop safety protocols for after-school programs. Prior experience includes 24 years with the Los Angeles Police Department in various capacities. Alma holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration.
