Lisa Anastasi

Chief Development & External Relations Officer & EVP at Boys & Girls Clubs of America

As Chief Development & Public Affairs Officer, Lisa Anastasi is responsible for creating, leading and implementing an integrated resource development strategy, raising private sector funds to support the work of the national organization and leading the development and implementation of enterprise-wide fundraising strategies to increase the fundraising capacity of Boys & Girls Clubs. She also oversees BGCA’s Government Relations division, guiding our national advocacy for youth and further leveraging public and private synergies, opportunities and revenue streams.

Lisa joined BGCA in 2021. Prior to that, she served as Chief Development and Marketing Officer at the United Service Organizations (USO), the nation’s leading charitable organization in serving active-duty service members and military families. Prior to this, she served as the Vice President of Development for the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, Texas. She began her career with former U.S. Congressman Larry Combest of Texas, working on legislative issues including education and veterans’ affairs. She also served in the office of U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison as a Cortez A.M. Ewing Fellow. Additionally, as a government relations consultant, Lisa represented colleges, universities and nonprofit organizations on Capitol Hill.

She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and received a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Oklahoma. She and her husband, Tim, have two sons, Brock and Walker.
