Marichu Valencia

Marichu Valencia is the current Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware. Marichu has held various positions at different organizations throughout their career. Marichu was previously the Board of Trustees at the Delaware Art Museum from April 2016 to April 2018. Prior to that, they were the Co-Chair of the Advisory Council for the Master Players Concert Series at University of Delaware from January 2014 to December 2015. Marichu also volunteered at Newark Senior Center and Meals on Wheels from December 2014 to December 2016.

Valencia has been with Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware for many years in various capacities. Marichu started as a visitor volunteer with Catholic Relief Services from December 2013 to December 2014. Later, they became the Senior Interior Designer for the US Department of State, Residential Design & Cultural Heritage from December 2009 to December 2012. After that, they took on the role as Contracts Administrator for Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. from December 2002 to December 2008.

Throughout their career, Valencia has demonstrated their passion for helping others. Marichu is currently using their skills and experience to help the youth of Delaware as the Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware.

Marichu Valencia has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the College of the Holy Spirit in Manila, Philippines. Marichu also attended St. Theresa's College in Quezon City, Philippines.
