Hannah Canady

Research Assistant at Boys Town National Research Hospital

Hannah Canady has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hannah started their career in 2015 as a Sales Associate at Old Navy, where they provided customer service, resolved issues, and maintained the sales floor. In 2017, they transitioned to Pro Eye Group as an Optometric Assistant, where they assessed patients' needs, prepared them for their visits, and provided information on contact lens sales. Concurrently, they joined Kids Care as a Childcare Worker, implementing rules and standards, conducting inclusive activities, and collaborating with colleagues to meet children's needs.

In 2019, Hannah joined the Autism Center for Toddlers Clinic as a Behavioral Health Technician, where they provided one-on-one clinical services and supervision for toddlers on the autism spectrum. Hannah used techniques such as discrete trial instruction and natural environment teaching.

In 2021, Hannah expanded their experience by becoming a Research Assistant at Boys Town National Research Hospital, where they are involved in research projects. Hannah also recently joined Papillion La Vista Community Schools as a Special Education Paraeducator.

Hannah Canady pursued their education from 2017 to 2021 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in School Psychology. In December 2019, they also obtained a certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the Munroe Meyer Institute.
