Seniru Ruwanpura

Seniru Ruwanpura, E.I.T, currently serves as a Research Assistant at the University of Calgary since May 2024, following previous roles such as Software and IP Management Developer at Micro Engineering Tech Inc. and Project Management Coordinator at RoboGarden Inc. With substantial contributions to the University of Calgary Students' Union as the elected Faculty Representative for the Schulich School of Engineering, Seniru demonstrates a strong commitment to student representation. As a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Engaging Engineers, a non-profit focused on engineering outreach, along with experiences such as Administrative and Events Assistant at the Hunter Hub, University Research Lead at Youreka Canada, and Substantive Director at IMUNA, Seniru possesses a diverse professional background. Seniru is pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of Ottawa, building upon a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary.
