Wes Walling, MBA, CEFP is currently the Director of Facilities Management in Healthcare at Boys Town National Research Hospital since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Assoc. Director of Building Operations at Creighton University from February 2012 to January 2020. Before joining Creighton University, Wes held the position of Instrumentation and Electrical Superintendent at UGL-Unicco from September 2010 to February 2012. Wes also worked as a Controls Engineer at Engineering Automation & Design from June 2008 to August 2010. Wes has experience as a Building Controls Engineer at Control Services from 2000 to 2008 and as an Electronics Supervisor at Conagra Foods from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they served as a Lead Energy Management Technician at Control Services, Inc. from April 1997 to July 1998. Wes began their career as an Electronics Maintenance Technician at Hormel Foods, where they worked from January 1991 to April 1997.

Wes Walling, MBA, CEFP, has a diverse educational background. Wes obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General, from Creighton University's Heider College of Business in 2020. In addition to their MBA, they also earned a Master certificate in Project Management from the same institution between 2014 and 2018.

Prior to their MBA, Wes completed their undergraduate studies at Peru State College from 1994 to 1997, earning a BT degree in Industrial Supervision. Earlier in their educational journey, they attended Southeast Community College from 1987 to 1988, where they acquired an AAS degree in Electrical Technology. Before their college education, Wes graduated from Fremont Sr. High School in 1987, focusing on College Prep courses.

Wes Walling has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they became an Electrical Contractor in Nebraska, certified by the State of Nebraska. Wes is also a Certified Educational Facilities Professional (CEFP) accredited by APPA. Additionally, they hold an EPA Universal 40CFR certification from the ESCO Institute.
