Jake Simpson

Jake Simpson, C.M. A.C.E. has extensive experience in airport operations and management. Jake is currently working as the Senior Director of Operations and Maintenance at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport since July 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Denver International Airport - City & County of Denver Dept of Aviation from 2011 to 2022. These roles include Airport Emergency Operations Manager, Airport Operations Manager, and Assistant Airport Operations Manager. Jake also worked at Arapahoe County Airport Auth from 2007 to 2011, where they served as an Airport Operations Specialist and an Airport Management, Operations, and Planning Intern. Jake has demonstrated proficiency in emergency response coordination, airfield and terminal operations management, and compliance with aviation regulations.

Jake Simpson, C.M. A.C.E. completed their Associate's degree in Air Traffic Control from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2004. Jake then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from the same university, which they obtained in 2006.
