Karen MacLennan

Karen Maclennan is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically at bp where Karen has held various leadership roles since March 2011, including VP Control and Assurance and CFO for BP Canada. Prior to bp, Karen worked at BP plc from January 2003 to March 2011 in positions such as Head of MI - Exploration & Production and Business Liaison Manager. Karen began a career in finance at EY, where responsibilities included Assistant Director - Transaction Support and Senior Manager - Transaction Support. Academically, Karen holds an MA Hons in Accountancy from the University of Aberdeen, completed in 1993.
