Marney Pietrobon

Marney Pietrobon has extensive experience in petroleum engineering and management, having worked at bp since October 1997 in various roles, including Atlantis Area Production Manager, Atlantis Area Development Manager, and Thunder Horse Base Management Team Leader. Responsibilities have included overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the Atlantis oilfield in the Gulf of Mexico, leading strategies for high-pressure high-temperature subsea wells, and managing multidisciplinary asphaltene projects across deepwater assets. Previous positions at bp encompassed roles such as Senior Petroleum Engineer and Completions Engineer, where contributions included the execution of drilling and completion programs and the development of innovative technologies. Marney's career began at Santos as a Petroleum/Reservoir Engineer after earning a B Eng in Petroleum Engineering from UNSW in 1996.
