Experience

Mr. Singh has 16 years of experience in legal matters in the financial markets across a broad range of matters within debt capital markets, structured finance & alternative investments and has previously worked for both leading law firms as well as prominent banks and NBFCs in India. Mr. Singh is responsible for the legal function of BPEA Credit. Prior to this, Mr. Singh was head of the Legal and Secretarial team for Altico Capital. Prior to Altico, he was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch as Assistant General Counsel and Vice President, where he advised on structured lending transactions. His previous roles also include Partner at Phoenix Legal where he was responsible for establishing and leading the firm’s debt capital market and structured finance practice and Vice President at Northern Arc where he established the legal function. Mr. Singh has also worked as an Associate with AZB & Partners and Manager with ICICI Bank and started his career as an Advocate with the law offices of Mr. N K Kantawala.

Mr. Singh received his B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) degree from National Law School of India University.
