Nigel Flowers

Nigel Flowers is an experienced professional in the plastics machinery industry, currently serving as President of the British Plastics Federation since May 2023 and as Director at Sumitomo (SHI) Demag since January 2006, where the company is recognized as one of the largest manufacturers of injection moulding machines globally. With extensive expertise, Nigel has held various roles in Demag Hamilton, including Technical Director, Service Manager, Technical Service Engineer, and Service Engineer from 1985 to 2005, focusing on engineering, field service, and automation. Nigel also chairs CEN/TC145 and ISO/TC270 at BSI since January 2007 and started a career in maintenance engineering at Hozelock from 1978 to 1984. Education includes studies at Aylesbury College of Further Education during the late 1970s and early 1990s.
