Alain Fakhoury

Alain Fakhoury has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Directeur d'investissements at Bpifrance since July 2012, focusing on equity and quasi-equity investments in regional SMEs and mid-sized enterprises (ETIs) to support their growth and transitions, including LBO transactions. Previously, Alain was Directeur de participations at Finarea from October 2008 to July 2012, specializing in equity financing for venture-phase SMEs in France. As a consultant at GROUPE ALPHA between 2004 and September 2008, strategic diagnostics and restructuring analysis for SMEs and subsidiaries of large international groups were conducted. Early in the career, Alain worked as a financial analyst, first at Detroyat Associés and later at Aurel BGC, where expertise in stock market analysis and corporate finance transactions was developed. Alain holds a degree in Expert Comptable and has completed certifications from the Société Française des Analystes Financiers, along with a Master 2 in Finance from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University.
