Valerie Colin

Valerie Colin is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles in the accounting field. Currently serving as the Tax Practice Group Leader and Of Counsel at BPM LLP since July 2021, Valerie has a strong history in tax strategy and business decision advising. At Gumbiner Savett, Valerie has been the Head of the Tax Department and Senior Vice President since January 1995. Additionally, Valerie co-created and partnered in Sunny Dreams LLC, offering innovative beach towels from January 2013 to January 2020. Valerie also held a partnership at Savoy and Colin from January 1985 to October 1994, and began a career at Stonefield Josephson, where responsibilities included managing client accounting jobs and ensuring quality control in compliance with AICPA standards. Valerie's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University, a personal financial planning designation from UCLA, and a Master of Business Taxation from Golden Gate University.
