Rick Schouten

Rick Schouten has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Rick started their career in 2006 as a Junior Business Controller (a.i.) at Getronics and worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2012, they served as the Head of Accounts Payable at Lekkerland. Rick then joined UPC Nederland as a Financial Accounting Analyst from 2012 to 2014. Rick continued their career as a Business Controller at Sportfondsen Nederland B.V. from 2014 to 2017. From 2017 to 2021, Rick held the position of Manager Control & Operations at SLTN Inter Access. Currently, they are the Head of Finance & HR at BPSOLUTIONS.

Rick Schouten has a strong educational background in business and finance. Rick obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management Economics and Law from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) in the years 2002 to 2006. Following that, they pursued further education and completed a Financial Controller Certified University Professional Program at Open Universiteit from 2013 to 2015. Later, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Amsterdam between 2014 and 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Rick Schouten also holds several certifications that demonstrate their commitment to professional development. Rick obtained certifications in Impact leadership from INSEAD Executive Education in April 2023 and in Acquisitions from Alex van Groningen BV in March 2022. Rick also received a certification in Merger Integration from Alex van Groningen BV in 2020. Furthermore, they completed a course in Operational Excellence & Lean leadership at Nyenrode Business Universiteit in 2018 and a MMC management course at de Baak in 2010.
