Luca Cicognani

Luca Cicognani is a seasoned technical key account manager at B&R Industrial Automation since September 2017. Prior experience includes roles as an application engineer at SEW Eurodrive from September 2015 to September 2017 and as a software/electronic designer at Marchesini Group S.p.A. from May 2012 to August 2015, where responsibilities involved software development for automatic machine control, particularly in pharmaceutical applications. Additionally, Luca worked as a research assistant at the University of Bologna between October 2010 and May 2012 on European and national projects, focusing on advanced estimation techniques in automatic control systems. Luca holds a degree in industrial engineering and a master's degree in mechatronics, robotics, and automation from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, as well as a degree from the Istituto tecnico industriale in automation engineering.
