Maliha Samshad

Maliha Samshad has a diverse and extensive work experience. Maliha currently holds the position of Head of Business Analysis at BRAC IT, a role they started in August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at bITS (BRAC IT Services) for eight years, where they held various roles including Lead Business Analyst and Senior Manager, Business Analysis. During their time at bITS, Maliha played a crucial role in the development of the ERP system for BRAC, the largest NGO in the world, specifically focusing on the Microcredit Management System. Maliha was also responsible for coordinating project activities, participating in strategy and implementation, conducting requirements elicitation and analysis, and delivering business documents and specifications. Prior to bITS, Maliha worked as a Manager of Business Analysis at Documenta TM Ltd. and as a Business Analyst at Nazdaq Technologies Inc. and Integrated Software. Maliha also served as an Asst. Team Lead at Ardites BTU, where they worked on mobile application testing, and as a Business/SQA Analyst at Grameen Solutions. Maliha began their career as an Internship Trainee at Data Soft System Bangladesh Ltd. Overall, Maliha has demonstrated expertise in business analysis, project coordination, and requirement validation throughout their career.

Maliha Samshad completed a B.Sc Honors in Computer Science from Jahangirnagar University from 2000 to 2005. Maliha also attended Ideal School & College for their H.S.C education. Maliha further pursued their education at Jahangirnagar University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science & Engineering degree and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering. Additionally, they received certifications including ACMP: Advance Certification of Management Professional from IBA, Dhaka University and participated in Leadership Skill Development training provided by Enroute International Limited. Maliha also has undertaken CBAP and PMP training, but the specific institutions and completion dates are unspecified.
