Matti Saarikallio

Matti Saarikallio is a highly experienced professional in the fields of AI transformation, business analysis, and architecture, currently serving as Head of AI Transformation at Digia Plc since 2018. With a strong background in research and development, Matti previously held the position of R&D Manager for x-ray devices at KaVo Kerr Group from 2015 to 2018. Matti co-founded Umber Oy in 2014 and has also worked as an entrepreneur at Isle Rock. Additional roles include Business Architect and Director of Software Development at Qvantel, and Senior Consultant and Agile Coach at Reaktor Innovations. Matti began a career in software engineering and sales management at Image Soft Oy and briefly served as a Conscript Researcher at the Naval Research Centre. Education credentials include a Doctor of Science in Economics from the University of Jyväskylä and an M.Sc. in ICT Business and Information Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu.
